Why are we hiring?

Due to consistent growth of our client base and project pipeline we need to bring in talented individuals to join our DevOps Consulting team. As a Senior Consultant, you will be given responsibility for the technical delivery of projects and owning relationships with the customer. You will lead assessment, design and implementation activities within clients, working on one major project or multiple smaller projects at a time.

You will be reporting into our Head of DevOps, with one of our Principal Consultants as your technical mentor. You will be responsible for a wide range of activities including:

  • Work with one or more of our clients to create DevOps solutions
  • Assess current SCM and Deployment practices
  • Help to define best practices for implementation of CI & CD toolsets
  • Design and implement Continuous Integration solutions
  • Design and implement Deployment solutions
  • Assess and improve processes such as Release and Configuration Management
  • Take an active part in defining and building DevOps go to market services
  • Creation of reference services and architectures for DevOps
  • Help to define work packages and plan for success
  • Communication of complex technical problems in simple terms
  • Take an analytical approach to problem solving
  • Collaborative working approach using tools such as Jira, Confluence and Slack

What are we looking for?

We are looking for candidates that have the below attributes/experience:

  • Experience designing and implementing CI & CD solutions in enterprise environments
  • Experience of cloud automation using configuration management tools
  • Experience of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Openstack
  • Technical experience of creating CD automation with one or more of Chef, Ansible, Puppet, Salt
  • Cloud automation using tools such as Terraform, Cloudformation and APIs
  • Technical experience working with code repositories such as Git, Github, BitBucket.
  • Technical experience implementing CI using tools such as Sonar, Nexus, Artifactory, Jenkins, Bamboo or equivalents
  • Experience of creating Continuous Delivery pipelines for complex applications including commerce tools (Websphere, Hybris, Oracle stack) and legacy applications
  • Technical experience with one or more scripting languages e.g. Ruby, Bash, Python
  • Excellent client facing communication skills.
  • Agile methodology experience
