Why are we hiring?

Due to consistent growth of our client base and project pipeline we need to bring in talented individuals to join our Cloud Practice. As a Principal Cloud Consultant you will be given responsibility for the technical delivery of projects. You will assist in assessment, design and implementation activities within clients, working on one major project or multiple smaller projects at a time.

You will be reporting into our Head of Cloud, who will also act as your technical mentor. You will be responsible for a wide range of activities including:

  • Work with one or more of our clients to create Cloud solutions
  • Help to define best practices for implementation on Cloud Migration projects
  • Turn requirements into scope, scope and requirements into design and also help us land how it architectural fits into the tooling (devops) and the operations/support side
  • Principal is involved from start to finish, so would need to travel, assist in discovery, assist in breaking it down into project chunks and manage pulling together solution designs
  • Help to define work packages and plan for success
  • Communication of complex technical problems in simple terms
  • Take an analytical approach to problem solving
  • Collaborative working approach using tools such as Jira, Confluence and Slack

What are we looking for?

We are looking for candidates that have the following attributes/experience:

  • 3+ years experience of working in a Sales environment
  • Experience of cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, Openstack beneficial but not essential
  • Exceptional communication skills at stakeholder level
  • Strong presentation skills

    Our Recruitment Team is now on the case. We’ll be in touch within 24 hours for a short call (about 20 mins) to discuss you, the role and what you want to do in the future.

  3. 3. First interview

    Within 48 hours of the initial call we move to the Interview phase. The first is with one of our Heads, it’ll be a call, video chat or a face-to-face. We’ll dive deeper into your suitability for the role and get into a few more specifics. This will typically last 45mins to an hour.

  4. 4. Final Interview

    The final interview will be at our Central London office, for this the Head of your team will be joined by one of our Founders. We’ll look to see how you’ll fit in with the Daemon Team, this will include covering the role in depth and more on the Daemon culture, values and vision for the future.

  5. 5. Offer/Feedback

    We make a commitment to come back to you within 24 hours after your final interview. This will be with an offer to join the team or detailed feedback as to why you weren’t successful this time.
